Responsibilities
- Architect Quantum Systems: Design and oversee the implementation of scalable quantum computing architectures and hybrid cloud environments.
- Algorithm Development: Develop and optimize quantum algorithms for complex problem-solving in logistics, cryptography, and AI.
- Error Correction: Lead the strategy for quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols to ensure system stability.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of physicists, software engineers, and data scientists in a collaborative R&D environment.
- Research & Development: Stay ahead of industry trends by conducting deep research into superconducting qubits, trapped ions, or photonic computing.
- Patent Strategy: Identify innovative solutions and lead the patent filing process to protect intellectual property.
Qualifications
- Education: Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years specifically in quantum computing or high-performance computing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and Q# or similar quantum programming frameworks.
- System Design: Deep understanding of quantum circuit design, quantum gates, and quantum error correction codes.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading technical teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
