Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design and implement core modules of the 2026 Protocol, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- System Optimization: Analyze complex system bottlenecks and optimize codebases for peak performance in high-throughput environments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and security experts to define technical requirements and deliver best-in-class user experiences.
- Mentorship: Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Security Implementation: Integrate security best practices and cryptography standards into every layer of the application stack.
- Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of emerging trends in distributed computing, AI, and blockchain to drive innovation within the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: 7+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in high-level languages such as Python, Go, or Rust. Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture is required.
- Cloud Knowledge: Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Security: Deep understanding of security-first coding practices and cryptography.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile, and remote-first environment.
