Responsibilities
- Lead System Architecture: Design and oversee the end-to-end technical stack for the 2026 Games, ensuring seamless integration across venues and remote viewing platforms.
- Cloud Strategy: Architect robust cloud-native solutions using AWS or Azure, optimizing for cost-efficiency and global scalability.
- Performance Optimization: Implement real-time data processing pipelines to handle high-velocity traffic spikes during live events.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce rigorous data security protocols to protect sensitive athlete and viewer data.
- Team Leadership: Mentor a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity within high-traffic environments.
- Technologies: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java; deep expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and Microservices.
- Cloud Mastery: Strong background in AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda) or Google Cloud Platform.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical challenges under tight deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
