Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of major IT infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with the LA2026 Games schedule and budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including engineering, operations, and vendor partners—to define scope, requirements, and technical roadmaps.
- Implement and maintain rigorous project governance, including risk management, resource allocation, and quality assurance protocols.
- Oversee the integration of legacy systems with cutting-edge technologies to create a seamless, unified digital experience.
- Act as the primary point of contact for high-level stakeholders, providing transparent updates on project health and deliverables.
- Ensure all technical solutions adhere to strict security, privacy, and accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).
- Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile thinking.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- PMP, PgMP, or similar advanced certification is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects for large-scale events, government contracts, or enterprise-level organizations.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex system architectures and technical jargon.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
