Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology and market foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Produce actionable strategic briefings for executive leadership on emerging threats and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global think tanks
- Create predictive models for technology adoption curves and societal impact
- Present strategic vision to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across the organization
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Ability to translate complex concepts into executable business strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar) preferred
