Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and market disruptors through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and trend analysis
- Produce annual 2026 innovation roadmap with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align teams on future-facing opportunities
- Analyze patent landscapes, academic research, and geopolitical indicators to inform strategic bets
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior analysts in futures methodology and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, Strategic Planning, or equivalent field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate R&D planning
- Proven expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures into business strategy
- Published thought leadership in futurist or technology innovation publications
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through multi-year strategic initiatives
