Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with executive stakeholders
- Identify and validate emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Manage cross-functional innovation projects from ideation to pilot launch
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Build and lead a specialized innovation team of futurists and technologists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Social Sciences with focus on future studies
- Expertise in emerging tech ecosystems (AI, Web3, climate tech)
- Proven experience developing long-term strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 companies
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Strong presentation skills with executive experience
- Certification in Foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Published thought leadership on future trends or innovation strategy
