Responsibilities
- Oversee daily inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels using ERP systems to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with third-party carriers and freight forwarders to optimize shipping routes and costs.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of the warehouse environment to maintain OSHA compliance.
- Process shipping documentation, bills of lading, and invoices with high accuracy.
- Train new hires on safety protocols, inventory software, and operational procedures.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management is preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required.
- Forklift certification is a plus but we will train the right candidate.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and occasional overtime as needed.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
