Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize incoming and outgoing freight on pallets, skids, or shelves.
- Machinery Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move materials efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Perform regular cycle counts and stock checks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet company quality standards before shipping.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
Qualifications
- Reliability: Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work full-time hours as scheduled.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic English reading and writing skills are required for safety documentation.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
