Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely handle packages and materials from delivery trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Organization: Maintain accurate stock levels, organize warehouse shelves, and ensure proper labeling of all items.
- Packaging & Shipping: Prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring all packages are sealed securely and ready for distribution.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damages and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on warehouse machinery and report any malfunctions to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation is required to commute to the facility.
- Reliability: Must demonstrate a strong work ethic and punctuality.
- Background Check: Must pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
