Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify and prepare merchandise for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock counts and cycle counts.
- Operate scanning equipment and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail environments is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
