Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders to meet customer satisfaction standards and shipping deadlines.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and organizing storage areas.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and navigate various warehouse environments.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Equipment: Valid forklift certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification is required.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency for scanning barcodes and logging data.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
