Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight from trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Sort, organize, and inventory stock items according to company standards.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Verify shipment contents against bills of lading and handle any discrepancies immediately.
- Package goods securely for distribution to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills for scanning and data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
