Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Accurately receive, inspect, and stock incoming merchandise to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Picking & Packing: Efficiently pick items from the warehouse floor and package them securely for shipment.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery as required.
- Quality Control: Monitor stock rotation (FIFO) and identify damaged or defective products immediately.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Reporting: Assist in cycle counts and generate daily reports regarding shipment status.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to adhere to strict schedules.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent observational skills to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipping.
- License: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (if required for the role).
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand instructions, both written and verbal.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
