Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight: Safely move products from delivery trucks to storage areas and prepare shipments for outbound delivery.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate stock levels and performing regular stock counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (training provided) to move materials efficiently.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure all items meet quality standards before shipping.
- Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and 5S guidelines.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We value attitude and aptitude over past history.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy is helpful; ability to read and follow written instructions is essential.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Reliability: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
