Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate material handling equipment to load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage merchandise while maintaining precise inventory records.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure proper labeling.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and minor maintenance on warehouse equipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline daily operations and meet performance targets.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Documentation: Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and fast-paced environments.
