Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners to move inventory.
- Load and Unload Freight: Efficiently process incoming and outgoing shipments with attention to detail.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, sort, and organize stock to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workspace.
- Package Preparation: Properly label, package, and stage goods for shipment or delivery.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris.
- Cross-Training: Assist in various departments as needed to support team goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but no experience is required for the right candidate.
- Documentation: Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication: Basic math and reading skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
