Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to track stock levels, process incoming and outgoing shipments, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move products throughout the facility.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects during receiving and packing processes to ensure high-quality customer service.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with speed and accuracy, adhering to all shipping guidelines and deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; we offer on-the-job training for motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and processing orders.
- Equipment Operation: Forklift certification (Class A/B/C) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends, as business demands.
- Communication: Basic computer literacy and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
