Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Coordinate shipping and receiving schedules, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs as necessary.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software (WMS) and basic computer applications.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy machinery (certification required).
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.
