Responsibilities
- Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient flow of goods from receiving to shipping.
- Oversee inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize loss.
- Enforce strict safety compliance standards (OSHA) and conduct regular safety audits.
- Train, supervise, and motivate a diverse team of warehouse staff and logistics personnel.
- Manage the maintenance and operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Collaborate with shipping and receiving departments to optimize logistics workflows and reduce delivery times.
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or operations.
- Valid forklift certification and ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team of 10+ employees effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
