Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse associates to ensure high performance and morale.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, inventory control, and shipping processes to meet strict deadlines.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA standards) to prevent accidents and ensure a secure workplace.
- Inventory Accuracy: Monitor stock levels and implement procedures to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy.
- Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in workflows and implement solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Shift Coordination: Schedule staff shifts effectively to cover peak hours and maintain continuous operations.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising teams or managing operational projects.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required); OSHA 10 preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
