Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure maximum efficiency and safety standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to maintain high productivity levels.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to prevent stock shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance protocols on the floor.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Resolve operational issues immediately and communicate effectively with the operations manager.
- Manage the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring cargo security and order integrity.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Proven leadership experience or ability to work well in a supervisory capacity.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
