Responsibilities
- Assist nurses with patient care activities including mobility support and vital sign monitoring
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Coordinate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and infection control protocols
- Provide compassionate support to patients and families during weekend hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday/Sunday) with flexible hours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Valid New York State ID or work authorization
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
