Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning items and reconciling stock against work orders.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to prevent accidents and ensure productivity.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize tasks and meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Assist in the organization of inventory storage systems to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and occasional holidays.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
