Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and power jacks to move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Load and Unload Freight: Efficiently process inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- Pick and Pack Orders: Retrieve items from shelves and prepare them for shipment using RF scanners and handheld devices.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock levels in designated zones.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations, wear PPE, and report hazards immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other associates to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when scanning and handling merchandise.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance record and punctuality are mandatory.
- Communication: Basic reading and verbal communication skills in English.
