Responsibilities
- Operational Efficiency: Load and unload trucks, verify inventory against manifests, and ensure accurate stock placement.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and hand tools as required.
- Inventory Management: Assist in cycle counting, stock replenishment, and maintaining organized storage areas to minimize retrieval time.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues immediately to supervisors.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline daily workflows and meet tight deadlines.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with no prior experience.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekend shifts (Friday through Sunday) on a regular basis.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy for scanning barcodes and entering data; strong attention to detail.
