Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks, ensuring packages are handled with care and placed in the correct staging areas.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and stock organization to maintain accurate inventory levels across all zones.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including pallet jacks and forklifts, following all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Quality Control: Inspect items for damage during transit and report discrepancies immediately to shift supervisors.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50 pounds repeatedly; ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy for scanning labels and logging data.
- Reliability: Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
