Responsibilities
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps for 2026+ innovations including quantum computing, neural interfaces, and AI ethics frameworks
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-gen human-machine interaction systems and immersive computing platforms
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech startups to co-create future-proof solutions
- Present technology forecasts and innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build and mentor a high-performing innovation lab team focused on emerging technology adoption
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in the 2026 technology landscape
- Oversee pilot programs for breakthrough technologies with measurable business impact metrics
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 breakthrough technology products or platforms
- Expertise in future forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, scenario planning)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, neuromorphic systems, and decentralized tech stacks
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Future Studies preferred
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar peer-reviewed technology journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding from venture capital or corporate sources
- Proficiency in technology impact assessment frameworks (e.g., TRL, STAMP)
