Responsibilities

- Lead horizon scanning initiatives identifying emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Translate future scenarios into actionable R&D priorities and investment frameworks
- Establish innovation partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Develop patent portfolios and intellectual property strategies for next-gen innovations
- Chair quarterly futures councils with executive stakeholders and external thought leaders
- Design and deploy corporate foresight methodologies including Delphi panels and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in AI governance, quantum computing applications, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Experience with scenario planning tools and futures forecasting methodologies
