Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI ethics, and circular economy principles
- Direct cross-functional R&D teams in prototyping and scaling future-facing solutions
- Develop patentable frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI symbiosis
- Present innovation blueprints to investors and board members with compelling data narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in trend synthesis and technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, futurism, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts (quantum, AGI, biotech)
- Deep expertise in AI ethics, sustainable tech, and disruptive business models
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published research in peer-reviewed futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding from venture capital or government grants
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and trend analysis software
