Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop quantitative/qualitative frameworks for trend forecasting using proprietary AI analytics platforms
- Architect strategic roadmaps for clients in biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Present findings to C-suite executives through compelling data visualizations and executive briefings
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions for emerging markets
- Author thought leadership publications cited in MIT Technology Review and Wired
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodology and critical analysis techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of forecasting market shifts with 85%+ accuracy
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Exceptional data visualization skills (Tableau, D3.js, or equivalent)
- Published research in peer-reviewed futures or technology journals
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ trend-validated strategic recommendations
