Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks mapping technological and market evolution through 2026
- Lead cross-functional workshops identifying disruption risks and opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce high-impact scenario analyses for executive decision-making and investor relations
- Collaborate with R&D to align long-term innovation pipelines with emerging global trends
- Represent the company at industry conferences and publish thought leadership on future trends
- Maintain competitive intelligence database tracking emerging technologies and regulatory shifts
- Design and execute horizon scanning methodologies across 15+ industry verticals
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role at Fortune 500 level
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into actionable strategies
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-oriented initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or CFAR) strongly preferred
