Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) and societal shifts to forecast market disruptions by 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for C-suite decision-making and long-term planning
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype solutions for 2026 challenges
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on industry evolution
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development lifecycles
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting tech adoption
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking frameworks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology R&D
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into executable strategies
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Experience with AI-driven forecasting tools and data visualization
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) strongly preferred
