Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and disruptive business models through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks and future-proof roadmaps for product innovation and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable R&D priorities and business opportunities
- Produce executive-level trend reports and predictive analytics for C-suite decision-making
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, conference keynotes, and industry partnerships
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory developments impacting future technology adoption
- Design resilience strategies for organizational adaptation to climate and AI-driven disruptions
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology analysis
- Proven track record of developing future scenarios that influenced enterprise strategy
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, weak signal detection)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex future concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools and predictive modeling platforms
