Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, societal shifts, and economic indicators to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for exponential technology adoption (AI, quantum, bioengineering)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-ready solutions
- Produce forward-looking scenarios and risk mitigation strategies for leadership
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing into development lifecycles
- Represent company at global futurism forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism research
- Expertise in technology forecasting and systems thinking methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative communication skills
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on disruption preparedness
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
