Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Present insights to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Build and maintain an expert network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers
- Advance internal innovation roadmap using foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies and societal impact modeling
- Proven track record of developing actionable future scenarios
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for technical audiences
- Experience with futures research tools (horizon scanning, Delphi, backcasting)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or strategic frameworks
