Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions through horizon scanning and trend forecasting
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026+ business models, product roadmaps, and investment priorities
- Produce actionable foresight reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-facing initiatives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry think tanks
- Integrate sustainability and ethical AI principles into long-term strategic planning
- Present insights to boards and investors to secure buy-in for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and futures research methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Strong analytical abilities with data-driven decision-making background
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Research (e.g., from University of Houston)
