Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Collaborate with R&D to prioritize innovation portfolios aligned with future market demands
- Produce executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities across global supply chains
- Establish thought leadership through white papers and industry conference keynotes
- Manage cross-functional foresight teams using agile methodologies
- Integrate sustainability and ethical AI principles into long-term strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning or innovation consulting with Fortune 500 clients
- Proven expertise in trend analysis using tools like Delphi method or horizon scanning
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3-5 year strategic predictions
