Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and societal trends to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on post-2026 market disruptions
- Design and implement innovation pipelines integrating AI, biotech, and climate resilience technologies
- Author annual 'Future Horizon' reports with data-driven predictions and strategic recommendations
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into roadmaps
- Establish cross-functional task forces to prototype solutions for 2030+ challenges
- Represent the company at global futurism forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into executable business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/FS or CFIP) strongly preferred
- Portfolio of published futurism work or thought leadership pieces required
