- Partner with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into product vision
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling data narratives
- Establish cross-functional innovation initiatives bridging technology, finance, and marketing departments
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning the company as a future-shaper
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitor innovation strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategy, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role at Fortune 500 or tech startup
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, AR/VR, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional executive communication skills with C-suite presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications (e.g., HBR, MIT Technology Review)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through complex strategic transformations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
