Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario models for long-term business planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for executive stakeholders and industry partners
- Establish innovation metrics to track emerging adoption curves and disruption vectors
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype solutions for predicted market shifts
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level communication abilities
