Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess market impact through rigorous research and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating futuristic technologies into product development and business operations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision execution plans
- Monitor global regulatory changes and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Present strategic insights to executive teams through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Build and maintain relationships with thought leaders, startups, and academic institutions in frontier tech spaces
- Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and partnership opportunities in emerging domains
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology, Engineering, Business, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in analyzing at least 3 emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional strategic thinking with demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into executable plans
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and futures research methodologies
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives through data-driven narratives
- Portfolio showcasing future-vision projects or published thought leadership in technology foresight
