Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, climate tech, and human augmentation
- Collaborate with C-suite to embed future-proofing into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Present foresight findings to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Design innovation incubators for 2026-era opportunities (e.g., quantum computing applications)
- Monitor geopolitical and macroeconomic signals affecting long-term strategic decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy leadership
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills with complex concepts
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic risk modeling
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation domains
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioners Network)
