Responsibilities
- Develop predictive frameworks for technological convergence in AI, biotech, and space exploration by 2026
- Lead scenario planning for global megatrends (demographic shifts, climate adaptation, AI governance)
- Design ethical blueprints for emerging technologies (quantum encryption, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing)
- Coordinate cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT Media Lab, NASA JPL, and WHO advisors
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' strategic briefings for Fortune 100 partners
- Architect decentralized governance models for global AI commons
- Prototype climate-positive economic systems using blockchain and IoT
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent strategic foresight certification
- 5+ years experience in technology forecasting at FAANG or equivalent
- Published research on singularity ethics or exponential technology impacts
- Expertise in systems dynamics modeling and Monte Carlo simulations
- Portfolio of implemented future-back strategic initiatives
- Fluency in predictive analytics tools (Palantir, Tableau, custom ML models)
- Deep understanding of UN SDGs and IPCC climate pathways
- Security clearance preferred for government collaboration
