You'll partner with C-suite executives to deconstruct emerging paradigms in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and AGI alignment, translating complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies. Your insights will directly influence $500M+ investment decisions and product development cycles.

• Lead horizon scanning for 2026-2030 technology inflection points
• Develop strategic frameworks for exponential adoption curves
• Architect ethical governance protocols for next-gen AI systems
• Mentor cross-functional teams in future-proofing methodologies
Responsibilities
- Conduct quarterly horizon-scanning across 12 emerging technology verticals
- Author annual '2026 State of the Future' strategic report for board review
- Design scenario-planning models for 3 potential future states (2026-2030)
- Lead innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners on future-readiness
- Establish KPI frameworks for tracking technology adoption velocity
- Represent company at global futurist summits (Davos, Singularity Summit)
- Mentor junior futurists in predictive modeling methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Published thought leadership on 2020s technology disruption
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI)
- Certification in Futures Studies (WFS or equivalent)
- Proven experience modeling adoption curves for breakthrough technologies
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for autonomous systems
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex data into executive narratives
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
