Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and global shifts to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks to prepare the organization for future industry disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into product innovation roadmaps
- Produce executive-level strategic reports and presentations on future market landscapes
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions based on trend analysis
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conference speaking
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic factors influencing future business models
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech, and metaverse
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills
- Published thought leadership in future trends (articles, books, or reports)
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
