- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies for future-focused research
- Design innovation incubators for moonshot projects with 10-year ROI horizons
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors and key stakeholders
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, space) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience presenting to executive boards and government entities
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Planning (preferred)
