Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a 2026-2035 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Produce executive-level trend reports and risk assessments for board-level decision-making
- Partner with R&D to align innovation pipelines with future market demands and societal shifts
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry roundtables
- Monitor geopolitical and technological signals that could impact 2026 strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, consulting, or innovation roles with 2026+ horizon focus
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic risk assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented future-ready strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking (e.g., AC/FS)
