We're seeking a visionary 2026 Futurist Strategist to decode emerging trends, architect next-generation business models, and guide our organization through the technological and societal shifts of the coming decade. This role blends deep analytical rigor with creative foresight to shape our innovation roadmap for 2026 and beyond.
As a key member of our Future Strategy Council, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives to anticipate disruptions, identify breakthrough opportunities, and position our portfolio as an industry pioneer. You'll translate complex data into actionable strategies while fostering a culture of bold experimentation.
Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, bio-convergence) and their implications for 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 5-10 year horizon planning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future products/services
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging technologies and paradigm shifts
- Architect ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Partner with R&D to accelerate commercialization of breakthrough innovations
- Establish industry thought leadership via whitepapers and keynote presentations
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused C-suite role
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on technological disruptions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or similar designation preferred
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Portfolio of published trend analyses or scenario planning projects
- Experience with Delphi method, horizon scanning, and causal layered analysis
