As a pivotal member of our Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, research scientists, and global thought leaders to translate futuristic concepts into tangible business strategies. Your insights will directly shape product roadmaps, investment decisions, and organizational transformation initiatives across Fortune 500 companies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and cultural trends to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for clients in AI, quantum computing, and climate resilience
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce high-impact foresight reports with actionable recommendations
- Design and execute innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Represent Nexus at premier conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Strategic Foresight, Technology Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategy consulting, innovation, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, biotech regulation, quantum applications, or sustainable systems
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong public speaking and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or client transformation projects
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, APF) highly valued
